Creating a Grafana Viewer User

To create a user with viewer permissions in Grafana, follow these steps:

1. Log in to your Grafana instance as an administrator.
2. Navigate to Administration > User and Access.
3. Click the New User button.
4. Fill in the required fields:
   • Name: Enter the user's name.
   • Email: Provide the user's email address.
   • Username: Set a unique username.
   • Password: Create a secure password.
5. Click Create to add the user.
6. Assign the user to the desired organization and set their role to Viewer under Organizations Secction in the user detailed info under Administration > User and Access > Select User.

The new user will now have read-only access to the dashboards.

Dashboard Groups

1. Neat Dashboards:

   • Provides insights into Neat devices, including firmware updates, connection statuses, and active alerts.

2. Graph API Dashboards:

   • Focused on device metrics and statuses retrieved via the Graph API.

3. Combined Neat & Graph API Dashboards:

   • Combines data from both Neat and Graph APIs for a comprehensive overview.
